Irving St Fest-A-Rama Street Fair
June 8th, 2024
We participated in the Irving St Fest-A-Rama Street Fair on June 8th. Our booth was in charge of the entire kids' activities section, offering engaging art activities: free origami lessons that fostered patience and creativity; free face painting that brought smiles to many faces; and a coloring station where children could explore their artistic talents. We also provided a platform for members of A.R.T.S like Esther and Julianne to showcase and sell their work. The Irving St Fest-A-Rama was not only a celebration of art and community but also a platform for giving back. All profits from our booth were donated to the Alameda Point Collaborative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting low-income families. This event was a remarkable opportunity for us to engage with the community, promote artistic expression, and support a worthy cause!

Julianne's Hearts Full of Arts

From sixth grade to ninth grade, Julianne donated a total of 275 kits by her self to various nonprofit organizations that help low income families. These include Building Futures, Alameda Point Collaborative, Abode Services, Tri-Valley Haven, Alameda Boys & Girls Club, and Covenant House California. Each kit is packed with art supplies such as sketchbooks, paint, markers, brushes, pencils, etc. Julianne used her money from winning competition and selling art to make these kits.
